Park in VértesszőlősThe association turned the central area of the village into a park with the assistance of the local government (planted 30 trees and 680 bushes; placed benches, tables, dustbins and bicycle stands). More than 100 people took active roles in the program: members of the foundation and employees of the local government, children from the local kindergarten and school, inhabitants of the village and also members of other NGOs. Together for Csarnoktér az NagylózsLocal kindergarten and school children, adults and elderly people transformed the only derelict land of the village into a park. They not only planted plants, but lso renovated the statues, the bird feeder, and local craftsmen made benches and information boards. They built the dustbin and the bicycle stands from the money collected at the carnival ball. Children will be able to observe wild animals from the “bird castle”, to be completed soon. | |||

Housing estate oasisThe foundation made the skateboarding and rollerblading-ring of the Hóstó housing estate more colourful: 120 bushes and 34 native trees were planted in the area. Greening the Glaser castle courtyardDuring this work, locals turned the courtyard of the Glaser Castle into a leisure park. Together for CseregleThe aim of the project was to form a big “pit” in the village into a public park. As a first step, they built a hatchway to it so as to create access, then they made a new sandbox and fireplace. The jewel of our villageLocals undertook to plant the area lying between the two ‘villages’, parts of Pusztaföldvár. As a result of careful preparation (repeated announcements, personal requests) 20% of the local population (almost 400 people) took part in the work, where 35 trees, 150 bushes and 300 flowers were planted. Volunteers have also come from the neighboring towns. The name of the park was chosen together within the frameworka competition, demonstrating the joint nature of the work. | |||

Rehabilitating the "Fancy-garden"In this project, locals renewed the resting and fun park of the state ophranage, which was neglected during the last 20 years.
