After the successes of the last two years, we organised a charity auction the third time on the 21st of November 2008 under the name of Art/Nature/Protection. The income from the contemporary fine art auction is shared between the artists and the grantees of HEPF. This way the customers are supporting both Hungarian contemporary art, domestic nature conservation and environmental programs at the same time.
The well-known and acknowledged artists of contemporary fine arts representing more generations offered a diverse genre of altogether 125 works this year. The list of the artists can be found under the „Acknowledgments” (LINK) menu.
The exhibition and the auction were held in the 2B Gallery in downtown Budapest. The unsold pieces may still be bought at an online auction at www.axioart.com.
