Our mission

The Hungarian Environmental Partnership Foundation aims at enhancing the development of an environmentally aware, participatory democratic society and institutional system by strengthening and supporting the civil environmental movements.

The foundation promotes the development of the environmental movement trough providing grants, training, fellowships and technical assistance where necessary.

Cooperation of green NGOs in Hajdú-Bihar county to enhance professional advocacy

The organization, formerly known as the Youth Conservationist Association of Hajdúböszörmény filled a gap by opening a coordination and advisory office in Debrecen with the help of HEPF. Though there are several strong and active organizations in Hajdú-Bihar county, there wasn’t any one working in the county capital. They established the new office to enhance and develop the cooperation of local environmental NGOs in the county and to strengthen their advocacy. Besides these they will also to operate the place to provide fast and creditable information and help to local citizens in environmental questions.
